CDC Book of Shadows Project

As you may have noticed, the Connect DC book of shadows only goes back to 2006. We really need to document the rituals from 1999 through 2005, as well as fill in any missing info for the 2006 rituals. Most of the info, basically the locations and intentions are listed in the messages in our yahoo group.

But what we need is someone to finish the job that Ryni and I started.

If you can help, please reply to this post and maybe we can pull together a team to take this project on.

Site Update Underway

We are in the midst of a major site update. Anything you post until further notice will not be migrated to the new site. I am also turning off new member sign up for the same reason.

[July 7 Update]
Well, we are still in the midst of the update. So far it is rough going, so it may last till the end of July. As you may have noticed, I have not turned off new member sign up. I am hoping that I can add in new members to the new site without a hitch.

Patricia and I worked on the site for several hours yesterday, only to realize late in the day that several issues were still unresolved and new ones had appeared. Ai yi yi!

Instead of starting over again, I am going to continue to work on the sandbox version off and on over the next few weeks. My hope is that I will be able to get it ready for prime time. Send me any good luck you have extra!

More updates as warranted ... Katrina

Celebrating The Sacred Body

Dark Flame Coven has selected the annual theme for Connect DC's 2008 seasonal public rituals.

The 2008 theme is Celebrating The Sacred Body: A Healing Journey.

Ryni - Our New Ritual Convener!

Congratulations are in order for Ryni, our new Connect DC ritual convener. Eridanus deserves congrats as well as he is now the co-convener.

Together our new leadership team follows in the footsteps of our outstanding previous convener, Rose. Rose will still be around, but now she can take a much deserved rest as Ryni and Eri take their turn in the center.

All Hail!

blessings,
Katrina
