Dark Flame Coven
- Dark Flame Coven selects the Connect DC convener(s), the ritual dates, and the annual theme. The 2008 theme is “Celebrating the Sacred Body: A Healing Journey”

Katrina Messenger
- Katrina Messenger is the founder and magickal anchor for Connect DC. Katrina, as Dark Flame’s High Priestess, conducts the annual ritual circle training and priestesses Connect DC's Samhain ritual.
- Katrina is also the system administrator and designer of the Connect DC web site through her web design company, Amber Eyes. She owns the web domain, and holds all copyrights associated with the Connect DC web site except where noted.

Connect DC Convener(s)
- Member of Dark Flame Coven
- Leads ritual circle
- Responsible fro the selection of the ritual intent, location and time
- Announces planning and other gatherings
- Sends out ritual and other announcements to email list
- Updates the web site with the ritual information and outline
- Works with the Web Spinner as needed in order to maintain and update the web site
Ritual Circle
- Assists Connect DC Convener
- Participates in online discussions
- Attends planning meetings and other gatherings as available
- Attends ritual circle training at least once every two years
- Volunteers for ritual roles as needed
Web Spinner
- Updates and maintains web site
- Moderates email list
Dragon
- Minds the edges of the ritual space
- Safety & security at rituals.
- Ritual liaison for police and other government officials, the press, and onlookers.
- Sets wards and arranges other magickal protections.
- At least one person should be the designated dragon for all rituals.
- Katrina Messenger, Dark Flame HPS, will dragon all rituals she attends.
Graces
- Minds the quality of the ritual space
- Meet, greet and welcome participants and curious bystanders to rituals
- Sets the tone for gatherings.
- After greeting a person, offering a ritual card, and having a brief exchange, graces should pass them on to other ritual circle members or participants, so they can continue to greet new arrivals.
